Question
QUESTION: I would like to know whether high creatitine level can be reduced and how to?

My doctor says it is impossible to reduce or reverse and says thst I may need dialysis in the near future. is this true?

Pls pardon me for the rudeness

Best regards

Cecilia

ANSWER: Hi Cecilia,

Thanks for your question on "Allexperts".

Sorry to disappoint you, but I agree with your doctor. There is no known allopathic medicine/diet/supplement that reduces serum creatinine levels.

Sincerely,

Dr. Shah

what can I do to keep the creatinine levels low?

Does diet restriction help?

Answer
Hi Cecilia,

Thanks for following up with me.

I am an allopathic practitoner and I know of no remedy to reduce creatinine levels. Dietary protein restriction may help maintain creatinine to some extent if done under proper physician guidance.

Sincerely,

Dr. Shah
