sir..my friend's father was apparently asymptomatic 2 days back..expect for some loin pain occasionaly...when investigations were done urine exam. revealed pus cells,then on usg stones in both kidney nd ureter were detected which were causin hydronephrosis....so he ws reffered to one of the hospitals in delhi...where on the day of admission his creatine ws 5.7mg/dl...he ws catherised...nd stenting ws done in both the kidneys nd stone(around 2) of the better functionin kidney were removd nd a nephrostomy tube put......after 1 week his creatine came upto 3.4mg/dl....nd stones of the other kidney were also removed now around 9 stones were removed...one ws of 17 mm....the nephrologist says that he z hopeful that creatine level will fall...nd functionin  will improve in 3 months...but the urologist is not so hopeful..says that kidneys will fail in a year or so....sir...now his nephrostomy tube has been removed...but leakage began nd somme collection of fluid detected on usg....for this infection now the antibiotics are on...nd the creatine which had gone to 3.0 mg/dl yesterday again hs risen to 3.4mg/dl today...his hb is 10.5mg%...nd bp is controlled with medications...pls sir guide with the prognosis as my friend's family is very disturbd abt this sit....will the creatine come dowm below 2mg/dl nd function improve....

A careful history, physical examination and review of the medical imaging is needed to prognosticate (forecast) what will happen to his kidney function. Unfortunately, I am not able to do this over the internet.
