about kidney transplantation

my father is affected by kidney problem,3monts wo diaylasis continue karwa rahe hai,dr.ne kaha ki unke lungs m water fill hone ki wajah se unhe breathing mein problem aati hai,kya is stage par kidney transfer karna sahe hai,diylasis se koi affect?

It seems that your father has End-stage kidney disease. He would require dialysis three times a week in addition to restricting salt and water to alleviate his breathlessness.



As far as kidney transplantation is concerned, I suggest that you discuss this issue with his Nephrologist. A lot of factors need to be discussed before a patient is considered fit for kidney transplantation.
