Kidney +Diabetic

My Father in Law is chronic diabetic aged 72 years also having Prostrate, and kidney problem surgery is not possible due to stamina  and Diabetic swings

His readings

Serum Creatinine 2.3 Reference : 0-12m-1.05

Serun Urea 85 mg/dl reference 15-38

both of this are high above reference range

Surgery cannot be  done due to age and sugar factor

His medication is

Novomix 30 insulin morning and evening 20-30 units

Met Neoribion 1 Tab

Mono Sorbitrate twice a day

Enam 10mg twice day

GLA120 twice a day

Shelcall CT 3 times a day

Dytor 20mg twice a day (last 3 days stopped on advice of Dr)

Contiflo T 1 tab daily

Becosule 1 tab a day



He is having a typical problem unable to walk take a great pain to walk with help of walker and unable to get up from bed unless some one supports from back, he is on catheter as his prostate are enlarged



Kindly help us to see if somehow his stamina to get up and walk for some basic works daily and keep people around him a little reason to see him and smile as my Mother in law and sister in law both are also patient I being alone cannot admit him also due to work since no one can attend at hospital

It is important to know the cause of elevated urea and creatinine. A careful history, physical examination, lab tests and imaging of the urinary tract are required to diagnose your father-in-law's condition.



Unfortunately, I cannot do that over the internet.



Please get him evaluated by a Nephrologist.
